Montgomery County, as authorized by County Code Section 20-37, operates the Montgomery County Self Insurance Program (the “Program”). The Program has been in existence since July 1, 1978, and provides self-insurance coverage and administrative services to its participants. Coverages provided by the Program includes workers’ compensation, liability and property.

The Montgomery County Government Self Insurance Program (MCSIP) web site, is an additional resource to the members. The site provides access to information for the prompt reporting of claims, selection of a PPO medical provider, and other program communications and ideas.

The Program is administered by MC Innovations LLC, a partner in excellence.
