The Montgomery County Division of Risk Management is pleased to announce that the recent audit of the Montgomery County Self Insurance Program by Aon Global Risk Consulting (Aon) resulted in a combined audit score of the Casualty and Property claims of 95% out of a possible 100%.
The audit activities were specifically tailored to meet Montgomery County’s desire to evaluate the services received against industry best practices and to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of those services in order to identify opportunities for improvement.
“The biggest single factor in making this achievement possible is that everyone on this program cares about the employees, constituents (public relations) and members they serve,” said Pamela R. Schroeder, Chief, Division of Risk Management, Montgomery County Government.
The claims handling services are audited externally every two years. The previous audit performed in 2014 also resulted in an overall combined score of 95%.
